House in Mahchangoalhi damaged in fire

A house named White View in Mahchangoalhi, Male' sustained severe damages today during a fire that broke out soon after noon.

The fire was soon brought under control by Fire and Rescue Service personnel of the Maldives National Defence Force (MNDF) and the police. The house is located near Ghiyasuddin International School.

Four rooms were damaged during the fire, sources say, including all the property inside. Nobody was hurt in the incident and police are trying to determine the cause of the fire.
