HRCM President Muna's term expires

The term of the Human Rights Commission of Maldives (HRCM) President Mariyam Muna expires in November, and applications are open to hire for the position she vacated.

Applications for the HRCM will be accepted from 8:30 to 12 noon on every working day. The application form will be available on the HRCM official website.

The deadline for submission of applications is the 22nd of this month at 12:00 noon.

Muna, who is currently the President of HRCM, was appointed to the post on November 30, 2020. Muna, who was previously a member of the Employment Tribunal, holds a Masters in Business Administration from Edith Cowan University in Australia in 2007.

Besides Muna, the Human Rights Commission currently consists of Ismail Habeeb, Samaau Ahmed Najeeb, and Ahmed Magsoom and Mohamed Shafeeq Mahmood, who were appointed as members of the commission on Monday. Magsoom and Shafeeq were appointed to the commission as the terms of Human Rights Commission Vice-President Moomina Waheed and Member Aminath Shifaath Abdul Razzaq expired on Monday.
