First Lady Sajidha returns after concluding Dubai visit

First Lady Sajidha Mohamed, on Friday, has returned to Male’ after concluding an official to Dubai, United Arab Emirates to attend the 7th Edition of the Merck Foundation First Ladies Initiative Summit (MFFLI).

First Lady Sajidha attended the Summit held from June 18^th to June 19^th as the Guest of Honor.

She delivered a keynote address during the Inauguration Session and spoke at the Committee Meeting.

This year’s Summit brought together 14 First Ladies from Africa and Asia. Discussions held at the Summit focused on prevalent social issues such as combating the stigma surrounding infertility, promoting girls’ education, empowering women, and strengthening healthcare capacities in areas facing specialist shortages.
