Maldives National University (MNU)’s Faculty of Shariah and Law professor Dr. Mohamed Murasleen has represented the University as a keynote speaker and chief guest at two prestigious academic events in Pakistan.
According to MNU, Dr. Mursaleen was invited by the Chairman of the Department of Qur'anic Studies at Islamia University of Bahawalpur, Pakistan, to serve as a keynote speaker at the First International Quranic Conference, held from April 29th to April 30th.
Dr. Mursaleen, representing the University, delivered a keynote address titled ‘Intellectual Understanding of the Qur'an in the Contemporary Era’.
The second event he attended, this time as the chief guest, was the International Seminar organized by the Institute of Islamic Studies of Bahauddin Zakariya University, Multan (formerly University of Multan).
During the event, he presented an insightful lecture on the topic, ‘Contemporary Challenges to Islamic Thought and its Solutions’.
MNU said these engagements offered a meaningful platform for the University to showcase its presence internationally, promoting academic collaboration and cultural exchange with esteemed scholars and institutions throughout the region.
MNU reaffirmed its commitment to academic excellence and global engagement by empowering faculty to contribute to knowledge-sharing and cross-border dialogue through such initiatives.
