Three adults and a minor arrested for assault in Hulhumale'

Maldives Police Service on Saturday evening had arrested four suspects – three adults and a minor – for allegedly assaulting someone in Hulhumale’.

Police had received report of the assault near a shop on Boaganvilla Goalhi around 19:13hrs on Saturday evening. The assailants reportedly attacked and injured a Bangladeshi national.

According to the law enforcement authority, the victim had injuries near their eyebrow and was taken to Hulhumale’ Hospital for treatment.

Police had arrested three men, all aged 18 years and a minor aged 17 years in suspicion of the assault, and added the authority was investigating the case.
