The National Awards Committee has opened nominations for the National Award for Public Service.
The award criteria were published on the Government Gazette on Sunday.
Nominations can be submitted until 01:00 pm on March 18 via the designated portal for the award at the President’s Office website.
Any individual who has worked for over 35 years in a government office, state-owned enterprise, or a company where a majority share is held by the government is eligible for the award.
Nominations may be filed by organizations or by individual applicants.
Winners of the National Award for Public Service will receive a shield, a badge of honor and a certificate from the President.
According to the President’s Office, the National Awards Committee will take into consideration the quality of the nominees’ work and their contributions to the development of their respective fields. The award would also recognize the nominees’ achievements.
The National Awards Committee requested all applicants to complete the required information and attach all necessary documentation along with the application form.
