Azman crowned SS Media’s Employee of the Year

Sun Siyam Media (SSM) honored employees from various departments who showed exemplary performance last year, in a ceremony held on Saturday night to celebrate the company’s second anniversary.

The top award – the Employee of the Year 2024 – went to Abdulla Azman, SSM’s system engineer.

Award for Excellence in Journalism: Ahmed Inah, deputy managing editor
Award for Excellence in Videography: Mohamed Shan, senior multitask videographer
Most Promising Staff of the Year: Ahmed Shan, multitask producer
Most Promising Journalist of the Year: Fathimath Shauna, multitask journalist
Most Promising Producer of the Year: Mohamed Dhaain Ali, assistant multitask producer

Ali Rasheed (Golhaa Ayya), manager, content development, and Mohamed Hamza, manager, productions, received awards for recognition from the CEO, Mohamed Asif (Mondhu).

Additional employees also received special recognition for their contributions.

The awards were presented by Dr. Ashraf Abdul Raheem, the chairman of SSM’s governing board.

Saturday’s event also saw the launch of upcoming productions of SSM, including a movie and programs for Ramadan.

The company also launched applications designed to facilitate work, including a mobile app to check attendance records in real time and a text-to-speech and speech-to-text application, and a privilege card that offer discounts for employees from several business establishments.
