Maldives-Saudi discusses expanding development initiatives

The Minister of Housing Dr. Abdulla Muththalib took part in discussions between the governments of the Maldives and Saudi Arabia on Tuesday, aimed at expanding development initiatives.

In a post on X, the Ministry of Construction, Housing and Infrastructure confirmed Minister Muththalib is currently in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia to take part in the Real Estate Future Forum.

Minister Muththalib also delivered keynote at the ‘New Frontiers: Balance and Innovation in the Real Estate Landscape’ panel discussion held at the forum.

On the sidelines of the forum, the minister had met with Saudi’s Municipalities and Housing Minister Majed bin Abdullah Al-Hogail.

The two ministers discussed on multiple avenues of enhanced bilateral cooperation, and expansion of investment opportunities in mutually beneficial areas.

The Real Estate Future Forum, which commenced on Monday, January 27^th will last until Wednesday, January 29^th.
