Two arrested for suspected ties to injured man near Senahiya

Maldives Police Service has arrested two individuals for their suspected involvement in the case of an injured local man discovered near military hospital, Senahiya, earlier on January 15^th.

In a message shared with local media, Police said the incident was occurred around 08:17hrs on January 15^th. The injured individual was found on a motorbike on Raiyvilla Magu.

The two suspects were arrested as part of the ongoing investigations led by the Gang Crime Investigation department of police. The suspects have been identified as Safwan Zufrath, aged 29, H. Rosendale, Male’ City and Ali Nashid, 34, Udhares, Sh. Feydhoo.

While Safwan was arrested around 21:19hrs on January 20^th, Nashid was arrested around 01:09hrs on January 21^st. Both have been remanded for five days.

With gang-related criminal activities on the rise in Greater Male’ area, another injured individual was discovered on Saturday as well.
