The man who fell offboard from a safari last night has been found dead.
MNDF, on Friday, launched a search operation for Ali Arushad, 35 years, from Noonu Hulhudhoo, who fell offboard from a safari while it was on course.
On Friday evening, MNDF reported they had discovered Arushad’s body 69 meters below sea.

His body was discovered by divers of MNDF Male’ Area Command’s Coastguard’s Second Squadron. MNDF said his body was retrieved from the sea to one of their vessels at approximately 15:35pm late afternoon.
Police said that the CCTV footage of the vessel showed the man falling from the top deck and hit the side of a lower deck before falling into the water.
