Ukrainian appointed MIFCO’s CEO

Ukrainian national Dr. Vitaliy Lyubimov appointed state fisheries company MIFCO's CEO.

A Ukrainian has been appointed the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of state fisheries company, Maldives Industrial Fisheries Company (MIFCO).

MIFCO identified its newly appointed CEO as Dr. Vitaliy Lyubimov.

As per his LinkedIn profile, Lyubimov has over 20 years of experience in strategic crisis management aimed at leading businesses of any scale and ownership structure from crisis to a sustainable economic level.

He is also a legal specialist and has previously held senior posts in huge corporations.

According to MIFCO, Lyubimov will commence his duties as the CEO tomorrow.

A foreign CEO has been successfully recruited to the state fisheries company following two vacancy announcements by the Privatization and Corporatization Board (PCB).

As per the terms of reference attached with the announcement seeking an individual for the post, the successful candidate will be paid their salaries in US Dollars. The salary range was placed between USD 12,000 and USD 15,000, to be decided based on qualifications and experience.
