Khadeeja Ibrahim Didi, the youngest daughter of former Maldivian Prime Minister Ibrahim Ali Didi, better known as Ibrahim Faamudheyri Kilegefaanu, has died at the age of 68.
She died on Saturday.
Khadeeja of H. Eggamugey was the youngest of Ibrahim Faamudheyri Kilegefaanu’s children – all of them daughters.
Khadeeja attained her education at Aminiya School, and later studied a Master’s Degree from the University of North Carolina in the United States.
She had been heavily involved in extracurriculars during her schooldays, becoming the first band student of Aminiya to use the maze as an instrument.
She was also a leading staff of the Women’s Department and served as president of the Women’s Committee of Henveiru.
Her funeral prayer is scheduled to be held at al- Masjid al-Ta'aawun (Aa Sahara Mosque) after Magrib.
Khadeeja is survived by three daughters, born to her marriage with former husband Dr. Abdul Sattar Yoosuf.
