Maldives being promoted to Italian market at TTG Travel Experience

Maldives Marketing and Public Relations Corporation (MMPRC) is representing Maldives at the TTG Travel Experience 2024 in Rimini, Italy.

MMPRC, in collaboration with 64 representatives from 25 companies, states Maldives is being actively promoted as a leading travel destination in the Italian market during the event which is being held from October 9th to October 11th.

TTG Travel Experience, a premier travel trade event in Italy, gathers international operators and key industry players, including tourism boards, tour operators, travel agents, airlines, and accommodation providers.

Italy has historically been one of the Maldives' most traditional and significant source markets. Henceforth, MMPRC’s presence at this event is crucial in ensuring the country remains a top-of-mind destination for Italian travelers.

During the event, MMPRC will be engaging in a variety of activities at the Maldives stand, enhancing destination awareness through direct interactions with stakeholders such as travel agents, tour operators, and media representatives. Representatives from companies in the tourism industry will also share the latest updates on their properties and services.

Italy has consistently maintained its position as one of the largest source markets for the Maldives, contributing 106,946 arrivals as of October 1st.

According to MMPRC, its promotional efforts for the market include media and influencer familiarisation trips and digital media campaigns with exciting initiatives on the horizon including the Discover Maldives Webinar Series: Italy Edition.
