MACL employees receive MVR 25,000 as bonus

The Maldives Airports Company Limited (MACL) has disbursed MVR 25,000 to their employees as annual bonus.

MACL, which manages the national airport – Velana International Airport, had distributed MVR 25,000 as annual bonus for the last three years.

All employees who worked for the entirety of last year received an annual bonus of MVR 25,000 along with their monthly pay on Sunday.

As per the company policy, employees who worked at least six months last year will receive an amount calculated on pro-rata basis.

However, employees who were dismissed last year under the company’s disciplinary policy are not eligible for the bonus.

MACL is among state-owned enterprises that generate the highest revenue.
