PG Abbas meets AG Usham

Prosecutor General Abbas Shareef has met with Attorney General Ahmed Usham on Thursday.

The meeting took place at the Attorney General’s Office.

During the meeting, Attorney General congratulated Abbas on his appointment as the Prosecutor General.

As per a statement released by the Prosecutor General’s Office, both officials discussed avenues to further strengthen and develop the criminal justice system.

Prosecutor General Abbas also shared his vision to achieve a well-rounded criminal justice system with the Attorney General.

Attorney General Usham also encouraged PG Abbas to remain honest in fulfilling his responsibilities.

As per Article 220 of the Constitution, shall carry out his responsibilities and exercise his powers without fear, favor or prejudice, subject only to the general policy directives of the Attorney General, and on the basis of fairness, transparency, and accountability.
