The signing was held at Dhiraagu headquarters, where its Director, Customer Services and Regional Operations, Massood Ali signed the MoU on behalf of the company and the Deputy Homeland Security and Technology Minister Ahmed Ali.

Dhiraagu said that the agreement would enhance the verification process for customers submitting their National ID Card copy requesting for the company's services.

The company added, this new arrangement would further enhance the service quality with guaranteed services to the customers, while reducing the chances of scams.

Dhiraagu is confident the agreement would strengthen the safety and security of customers and their identities, while the Homeland Security and Technology Deputy assured DNR's full support to the cause.

"It is a great pleasure for us to be a part of such a digital initiative in partnership with DNR. This would enhance customer safety, and ensure authenticity of the services they acquire from us. This would also improve the service channels while ensuring convenience for the customers," Massood said.

Dhiraagu added it remains committed to the cause of introducing and integrating digital innovation to enrich the lives of the customers, and assist in the Maldives' journey towards digitilization.
