BML organizes ‘Eid Sai’ in six islands

Bank of Maldives (BML) hosted Eid Sai event in six islands on Wednesday to celebrate Eid al-Fitr and strengthen community bond.

Held in collaboration with island councils and local NGOs, this year’s Eid Sai was hosted in HA. Utheemu, R. Kinolhas, ADh. Dhangethi, Th. Veymandoo, L. Gan and Fuvahmulah City.

BML’s Head of Public Relations, Mohamed Saeed noted that the event is a huge success each year, and one that brings the community together.

“Eid Sai event is widely enjoyed by our community and is a huge success every year. This brings the community together as they participate in exchanging smiles, conversation and feasting. This is a very special event to all of us at the bank,” he said.

“We thank our team, island councils and locals for assisting us to host the event.”

Eid Sai event exhibits the deeply formed friendships of the island community over the years, in addition to reflecting the unity and social ties of the community as a whole.
