Faresmaathoda candidate attacked en route to debate

MDP fielded candidate for Faresmaathoda constituency, Ahmed Zaeem was attacked on Thursday afternoon with diesel.

At the time of the assault, Zaeem was en route to the parliamentary debate program hosted and broadcast by state media, PSM News.

Condemning this act, MDP said on X the assault on one of the contenders in the parliamentary election was cowardice.
