Restaurant, Cafe opening hours in Ramadan extended

The Ministry of Economic Development and Trade on Monday, March 04, 2024 has announced eateries including restaurants and cafe's can operate until 03:00 a.m. during Ramadan.

The ministry has announced the operational hours for restaurants and cafe's during Ramadan will be between 05:30 p.m. and 03:00 a.m.

Additionally, the ministry has granted operational hours for restaurants and cafe's from 04:30 a.m. to 03:00 a.m. during the first seven days of the following Islamic calendar month; Shawwal.

Local retailers and vendors can operate from 05:30 a.m. until 01:00 a.m. effective from next Friday, for the period of Ramadan and the first seven days of Shawwal.

The ministry asked all relevant businesses to adhere to directives issued by the authority.
