Maldives Customs Service launched four digital services on Monday; courier cargo management system, online cash declaration, online statistics for traders, and advance e-agency approval.

Online statistics for traders

The service allows traders to check statistics on the goods they import via the Customs portal.

Online cash declaration

This service was previously provided manually. The digitalization of this service allows travelers to submit and have their cash declaration forms processed online, whether from overseas or before arriving at the airport.

According to Customs, the digitalization of the service will improve the convenience of travelers by eliminating the need to wait in queue and minimizing the issues that arise during peak hours.
