Elite Runners to hold a running event for all ages

Elite Runners is set to hold a running event, open to participants of all ages.

Elite Runners cited the main purpose of the event as organizing a race that can be participated by people of all ages.

The special ceremony held on Sunday evening to announce the race was officiated by State Minister for Sports Abdul Razzaq Ibrahim. The event, titled ‘Hulhumale’ Run’, will be held from 5:00pm to 7:00pm on May 17^th at Hulhumale’ Central Park.

Housing Development Corporation (HDC) is the main partner of the run while MOMS AID is the affiliated non-governmental organization.

Elite Runners said MOMS AID was chosen as the organization is extremely competent.

When registering for the run, participants will have the opportunity to make donations to the organization.

Sun Online is the online news partner of the event.

Elite Runners cited providing a platform for national, seasonal and new runners to compete in the same race as one of the main goals of the event. Winners coming in first, second and third will receive monetary prizes. The exact amounts have not been disclosed by Elite Runners.

Elite Runners, an association incepted in 2019, is aimed at empowering individuals to become lifelong runners.
