Man critically injured in accident at Fuvahmulah City brought to Male’

A man critically injured in an accident in Fuvahmulah City has been brought to Male’ for further treatment.

Police, in a message to the media, said the accident took place at Fuvahmulah City’s Bodufannu Magu at approximately 10:15pm on Saturday night.

Investigations so far show that the accident was a result of the speeding motorcycle veering out of control and crashing into a wall, said Police.

They identified the injured as a 30-year-old Maldivian man.

He was initially treated at Fuvahmulah Hospital and brought to Male’ City for further treatment in the early hours of Sunday morning.
