Two people picnicking in Dhiffushimaadhoo injured in wall collapse

Two people who were picnicking in Sh. Dhiffushimaadhoo was injured in a wall collapse on Friday morning.

Maldives National Defense Force (MNDF) identified the injured as a 57-year-old woman and a 28-year-old man. Both of them were transported to Lhaviyani Atoll Hospital for treatment.

MNDF, noting the incident was reported to the authority at 5:19am early Friday morning, said officers were dispatched to the scene immediately following the report.

While both individuals are presently being treated at Lhaviyani Atoll Hospital – the extent of their injuries is unclear at the moment.
