Colonel Mohamed Jamshad appointed MNDF Southern Area Commander

Colonel Mohamed Jamshad has been appointed MNDF’s Southern Area Commander.

He was presented his credentials by Chief of Defense Force Lieutenant General Abdul Raheem Latheef.

Prior to his appointment as MNDF’s Southern Area Commander – Colonel Jamshad was serving as the Director Lieutenant of maritime operations.

Following his appointment, Colonel Jamshad met with the GDh. Atoll Council and GDh. Thinadhoo Council.

The purpose of these meetings is for Colonel Jamshad and the councilors to get introduced to each other and discuss ways the authorities can collaboratively work together to serve the people.

Changes are made to the leadership of MNDF following the change in administration. However, the new administration has not yet made any major changes to the leadership.
