Applications have been opened for over 300 scholarships granted to Maldives by Saudi Arabia’s Ministry of Education.

Areas of courses under scholarship include computer science, business management, economy, agriculture, Islam and Arabic language, engineering, politics, media and law.

Interested applicants have been instructed to apply for the scholarship through the online portal created for the purpose.

Maldivian Higher Education Ministry has requested recipients of the scholarships to confirm whether their institutes and their courses are accredited by the Maldives Qualifications Authority (MQA) before their departure.

They have also instructed recipients of scholarships involving professional licenses to confirm whether their institutes and their courses are accredited by the relevant local authorities.
