President Solih meets artists who support him

President Ibrahim Mohamed Solih has met with artists who have announced their support for his re-election bid.

The meeting with the artists – who include movie stars, musicians, photographers and artists – took place on Thursday.

At the meeting, President Solih urged them to encourage as many people as possible to vote for him.

The artists, in turn, thanked the president for his support for the art and entertainment industry, highlighting on the renovation of the Olympus Cinema and the National Art Gallery.

Since its renovation, the Olympus Cinema has hosted 72 movie screenings and 21 music shows.

Meanwhile, the National Art Gallery has hosted 31 exhibitions, showcasing the talents of over 500 artists.
