Agreement signed to construct 50 housing units in Rasdhoo

The Planning Ministry has awarded the contract to SJ Construction Pvt Ltd for the construction of 50 housing units in AA. Rasdhoo.

Director General Ahmed Vishan Naseem signed the agreement on behalf of the Planning Ministry at a ceremony held at the Planning Ministry today. Shihaad Ibrahim signed on behalf of the company.

The project is being implemented under the government's PSIP budget at a cost of MVR 84.2 million.

SJ Construction is required to finish the project within 270 days.

Each housing unit built under this project will have 1,000 acres and will have three rooms, three bathrooms, a sitting room, a kitchen, a storage room, and a laundry room

The Planning Ministry said the housing units will be illuminated with ambient lighting to create a comfortable environment for the residents after construction is completed. A park and vehicle parking area will also be established in the area.
