Passport services launch in Thinadhoo

Maldives Immigration Service has opened an office in GDh. Thinadhoo, launching passport issuance services in the island.

The service was launched by President Ibrahim Mohamed Solih on Wednesday.

He presented a plaque to the first person to be issued their passport from the office.

Decentralization of immigration services by opening the institution’s offices across Maldives is one of the goals of the government’s strategic action plan.

 Immigration has opened offices in HA. Atoll, HDh. Atoll, Fuvahmulah City, Addu City, and now Thinadhoo.

Applications for passport services must be submitted online, via Immigration’s digital platform, IMUGA. Thinadhoo can now be selected as a collection center for passports.

The office in Thinadhoo will be open from 08:00 am to 03:00 pm on working days.
