President Solih: No other intention than serving the people

President Ibrahim Mohamed Solih, on Thursday, remarked that his bid for a second term is with no other intention than serving the people.

Speaking at a campaign event in GA. Maamendhoo – President Solih cited the development of Maldives and establishing peace across the nation as the work he intends to carry out.

“We will not carry out targeted attacks on a certain person for political benefit. Our aim is to develop the nation alongside the political differences,” he said.

Unveiling his policies for the second term – President Solih said the highest priority under the manifesto for the next term will be to ensure equal opportunities for citizens than at present with respect to currently established social resources.

He also briefed the residents on his pledges for Maamendhoo in a second term;
