Coca-Cola Maldives has expanded its beverage portfolio in the Maldives with the launch of caffeinated beverage, ‘Charged’, alongside an enticing consumer promotion.
Charged was launched during a momentous ceremony at Meeruma event hall on Thursday which was attended by esteemed guests, key industry professionals, influencers, and members of the media. The attendees were introduced to the unparalleled taste of Charged, as they had the opportunity to sample the bold berry flavor, and experience the burst of the fully loaded feel-good drink. They also had the opportunity to engage with the brand’s commitment to promoting an active lifestyle.
Pankaj Sinha, Managing Director for Coca-Cola in Maldives, said the company is constantly striving to deliver innovative beverages that cater to the evolving tastes and lifestyles of their consumers.
“We envision Charged, in its bold berry flavor, to become the go-to beverage for individuals seeking a revitalizing boost to enhance their daily activities and get them in the active island spirit all-year round,” he added.
‘Get Charged and Win’ promotion for consumers is in partnership with Benelli Maldives and Lotus Bike Shop, offering them the chance to win six cutting-edge motorcycles, including the Benelli 180S and Benelli Leoncino 250. The winners of the bikes will be announced every fortnight; July 2 and 22; August 5 and 19; and September 2 and 16 at 9:30pm on Television Maldives (TVM).
To participate in the ‘Get Charged and Win’ promotion, buy a Charged drink, asking for a scratch card, and sending the hidden code on the scratch card to 2626 via SMS.
Consumers will also have the chance to win other prizes, including Charged branded helmets and Charged drink cases under the promotion.

Charges is now widely available in 250ml at major retail outlets, hotels, restaurants, and cafes throughout the Maldives. They come in 100 percent recyclable aluminium cans, in line with Coca-Cola Maldives packaging strategy to use 100 percent recyclable packaging materials.
