Applications open for BML’s Graduate Internship Program

Bank of Maldives (BML), on Sunday, has opened applications for this year's Graduate Internship Program.

BML Graduate Internship Program is a year-long internship program for graduates and students from local higher education institutions which will allow them to gain on-the-job experience and provides a pathway to permanent employment within the bank and other financial institutions in Maldives. 

The inters will be rotated across a number of business units, departments and branches to gain a variety of experience and develop a variety of skills.

They will receive an allowance of MVR 6,000 per month and are also eligible for benefits including Ramadan bonus and paid leave.

BML’s People and Change Director, Sahar Waheed said the program offers young individuals the opportunity to develop the foundational skills required for a career in the finance industry.

She noted that over 42 interns have successfully completed the program with 70 percent gaining permanent positions at BML since the launch of the program in 2018.

Interested individuals have been instructed to file their applications online before July 2^nd.
