Applications open for MPL internship program

Maldives Ports Limited (MPL) has opened applications for its internship program.

The MPL internship program targets secondary and higher secondary students.

Applications are open until May 31.

The internship program, conducted by the company’s Learning and Development Department (LDD), will be held from June25-August 3.

MPL said one of the key purposes of the program is to familiarize students with the job opportunities available at the company, and train students in maritime-related fields.

The internship program will cover:

• Mechanical engineering
• Civil engineering
• Marine engineering
• Electric engineering
• Information Technology
• Business development
• Marketing

The students selected as interns will receive field training and will be assigned mentors, who will play a key role in teaching them work skills.
