Man wanted for attacking residents of Male' home

Police are searching for a man wanted for forcing himself into an apartment in Male’, and threatening and attacking the apartment’s residents with weapons.

Police made a public announcement seeking the whereabouts of Ibrahim Sameen, 34, Dhethandimaage, R. Maduvvari, on Tuesday.

The incident in question took place on May 2.

According to police, Sameen, along with a group of others, had forced their way into an apartment in Male’ City and threatened the residents of the apartment with a sharp-edged weapon, and attacked them with “dangerous weapons”.

They also destroyed private property.

The police said they have a warrant for Sameen’s arrest.
