BML opens self-service ATMs in two Noonu Atoll islands

BML, on Tuesday, has opened self-service banking ATM centres at two islands in Noonu Atoll under its strategy to expand banking services to support local communities.

The two islands where BML self-service banking centres have been established are Maafaru and Miladhoo.

BML detailed that the centres will provide cash withdrawal, deposit and transfer services for both individual and business customers on a 24-hour basis.

With the opening of self-service banking centres at Maafaru and Miladhoo – Noonu Atoll now has a self-service banking centre in Kendhikulhudhoo and branch services in Manadhoo, Velidhoo, and Holhudhoo.

Commenting on the opening, BML’s CEO, Managing Director Karl Stumke said the bank remains steadfast in providing accessible banking services.

“Our focus remains steadfast as we continue our investment to provide accessible banking services. We are delighted to support the people, businesses and economy of these islands as part of our network expansion,” he said.

BML has a nationwide network of 38 branches across all 20 atolls, 87 self-service banking centers, 143 ATMs, over 200 agents and a full suite of digital banking services.

The bank stated that they are committed to supporting individuals, businesses and communities across Maldives.
