Hanbo Company Pvt. Ltd.’s minority shareholder Hassan Mamdhooh (Manday) has denied the allegation against in the case under investigation by the police involving the sale of apartments from the K-Park Residences using forged documents.

In a three-page statement Tuesday, Manday called allegations of dispute among shareholders of the project’s local agent “a blatant lie”. He said the allegations against him were made in collaboration with the local contractor hired to install windows at the apartment complex.

He called the allegations against him a “conspiracy” carried after he opposed plans by Hanbo Company's managing director, Jin Shihu to appoint the local contractor hired to install windows as the company’s board secretary.

Manday said he would provide his full cooperation to the people who bought apartments at the K-Park Residences as well as the authorities as they investigate the case.

Manday said the project wasn’t being carried out with funding from Jin or the company, but from the money raised through the sale of apartments, and from his own pockets.

This includes performance security to Urbanco over the last seven years, he said.

Manday said Jin does not have authority over the K-Park Residences.

Police had asked on Monday for victims of the scam to come forward and share information. According to police, the case involves sale of apartments from the K-Park Residences using forged documents, and embezzlement of the money collected in the scam.

Manday has a travel ban on him in connection to the case.
