In the course of the program, civil servants will participate in various sessions which will be led by Indian experts. These sessions will cover areas such as civil service, governance and policies among others.
The training program is being conducted under the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) signed between Civil Services Commission (CSC) Maldives and National Centre for Good Governance (NCGG) in June 2019.
The batch that departed on Friday was the 22nd batch, while the batch that departed on Saturday was the 23rd batch.
Nasih detailed that over 600 participants have been trained following the execution of the MoU. The goal, as per the agreement, is to train 1,000 civil servants by the end of the current administration’s five-year term.
