Missing man found dead on Gan beach

An elderly man was found dead on the beach of L. Gan on Saturday, hours after he went missing after going swimming.

Gan council member Ahmed Zaki identified the deceased as a 64-year-old local.

According to Zaki, the man went swimming in the morning, and the family began searching for him after he failed to return home.

His body was found washed ashore on Gan beach at around 01:30 pm.

His body has been taken to the Gan Regional Hospital.

The council reports the family is making funeral arrangements.
