Woman falls to death from Henveiru building

A 32-year-old woman fell to her death from a building in Henveiru district of Male’ City on Monday night.

Police, in a message to the press, said that Indira Gandhi Memorial Hospital (IGMH) informed them she had already been dead when she was brought to the hospital.

As per the Police, the fall was reported to the authority at approximately 8:05pm tonight. Officers are still present at the scene.

Sun has learned that the woman fell from the fifth floor of Lily Night, a home in Henveiru district.

Photos circulating on social media show that she landed on the ground face-front, subsequently, having sustained serious injuries to the head. The spot where she landed was covered in a pool of blood.

The incident comes less than 24 hours into the death of a four-year-old boy who fell from the fifth floor of a building in Henveiru district of Male’ City.
