FM Shahid travels to India on official visit

Foreign Minister Abdulla Shahid, on Wednesday, traveled to neighboring India on an official visit.

Upon his arrival at Indira Gandhi International Airport – the Minister was received by the High Commissioner of Maldives to India Ibrahim Shaheeb and senior officials from the Ministry of External Affairs of India.

During this visit, Foreign Ministry states that Minister Shahid will participate in the 8th edition of the Raisina Dialogue to be held in New Delhi, India from Thursday to Saturday.

The Raisina Dialogue is an annual conference hosted by the Observer Research Foundation, in collaboration with the Ministry of External Affairs of India. Foreign Ministry said that Minister Shahid will be joining the Panel Discussion themed ‘Heart of the Matter: LiFE (Lifestyle for Environment) for our Common Future’.

Apart from this, the Minister is also scheduled to meet with a number of Foreign Ministers and leadership of the Indian Government during the visit.
