President Solih meets Huyam, recipient of the President’s scholarship this year

President Ibrahim Mohamed Solih, on Tuesday, met with Fathimath Huyam Khalila, the recipient of the President's Scholarship this year.

The meeting was held at the President’s Office.

During the meeting, President Solih congratulated Huyam, a student from Arabiyya School, on her academic accomplishments and encouraged her to pursue further studies. He also recognized the contributions of Huyam’s school and her family in her educational journey. 

The President expressed hope that Huyam would exercise the same enthusiasm and vigor in her higher education and return to serve the nation with diligence and integrity.

Huyam was presented with the scholarship award letter during the meeting which was also attended by Higher Education Minister Ibrahim Hassan, Huyam’s mother and the Deputy Principal of Arabiyya school Aishath Azma.

Huyam scored the highest distinctions in 13 subjects at the Shahada Saanaviyya examinations. She chose to pursue higher education in architecture at the Infrastructure University Kuala Lumpur (IUKL), Malaysia.
