The Children’s Ombudsperson’s Office has launched a new and improved website, designed with focus on user-friendliness, compatibility, and ease of navigation.
The new website was launched Monday.
According to the Children’s Ombudsperson’s Office, its new website comes equipped with additional features including an online messaging service and an online complaint form.
The website has both Dhivehi language and English language editions, and has educational resources for children.
The office also has children’s coloring books available for download.
The website has important information, including the rights of children, and the responsibilities of state institutions and other parties in protecting the rights of children.
The Children’s Ombudsperson’s Office is mandated with monitoring the implementation of Child Rights Protection Act by the relevant state institutions, and encouraging state institutions concerned to assess the effectiveness of the Child Rights Protection Act and take all necessary steps to implement it.
