MTCC introduces new bus route to Hulhumale phase 1

Maldives Transport and Contracting Company (MTCC) announced a new bus route of Raajje Transport Link (RTL) bus services for Hulhumale Phase one.

The company has decided that from November 11 onwards, the new bus route R5 will be introduced. This route will be linking the Fithiroanu Magu area in phase one to the main bus route located in Nirolhu Magu.

According to MTCC, this route will begin operations from 0545 hrs and end by 1800 hrs. Meanwhile, on Fridays, there will be buses from 1000 hrs till 1300hrs.

There will be a bus coming every 15 minutes for the route, stated MTCC.

The tickets are priced at MVR 5 and can be purchased from the RTL website as well as from their mobile application.

RTL buses provide services free of charge for those over 65 and under 3 years, as well as those with disabilities.

With this additional route, currently, MTCC provides bus services on 12 routes in the greater Male’ region.
