Maldives Immigration on Sunday officially opened and commenced services from its new Southern Regional Office, located in Maradhoo, Addu City.
The Mayor of Addu City Ali Nizar attended as the chief guest at the special ceremony held to open the new southern regional office.
Additionally, senior officials from Immigration and members of the council were in attendance.
Immigration stated that this office was opened to provide a better environment for the people seeking their services in the region.
Moreover, they noted that all the services available in the previous regional office would now be available from the office in Maradhoo.
A southern regional office of Immigration was first established in Hithadhoo, Addu City in 2016.
