Institute of Chartered Accountants of Maldives (CA Maldives) has signed with sponsors for the annual Maldives Accountants Forum (MAF).
This year's forum is scheduled to be held on October 29 to 30.
The main sponsor of the event is State Trading Organization (STO), and the co-sponsors are Dhiraagu, Maldives Transport and Contracting Company (MTCC), and Pension Office.
The banking partner for this year is Bank of Maldives (BML).
Maldives Accountants Forum 2022 will center around the topic “Economic Transformation: Rethinking Growth in the New Economy.”
CA Maldives stated that the forum's primary emphasis will be "enlightening participants about the changes that are occurring in the Accounting and Auditing profession and how to adapt to those changes."
Numerous industry experts from Maldives and the chartered accounts within the Asian Region will be taking the event which will provide the opportunity of exchanging information.
Notably, this is the first year CA Maldives will be organizing the forum. It was previously hosted by the Auditor General’s Office in 2017, 2018, and 2019. The MAF 2020 was canceled due to the outbreak of the Covid-19 Pandemic.
