The Transport Ministry at the time said that this agreement will pave the way for drivers holding licences of both nations to drive motor vehicles in each other's countries with the driving licences issued by the respective countries.
Speaking at the agreement signing ceremony, Minister Nahula said that this would ease mobility for locals in Malaysia and vice versa.
She also stated that the agreement symbolizes the strength of the relationship between both countries.
