ASBA successfully concludes mental health workshop for health sector workers

Association for Social Benefits and Aid (ASBA) has successfully concluded a special workshop titled ‘Mental Fitness for High Performance’ targeted toward doctors and nurses working in the health sector on Saturday evening.

The workshop held at Paradise Island Resort was well received by the participants. Ninety individuals working in the heath sector participated in the workshop. The main discussion topic under the two sessions conducted in the workshop was difficulties faced by health sector workers and the different ways to face them. Nurses and doctors shared the difficulties they face in their work environment, and their most pertinent thoughts and concerns.  

The sessions in the workshop were conducted by Role Plus, ASBA’s partner for the event.

Participants thanked ASBA for holding such a workshop especially for health sector workers.

Speaking at the closing ceremony of the workshop, ASBA’s founder, Transport Minister Aishath Nahula assured that the organization will expand their activities and hold additional events in the future.
