Motorcyclist punches truck driver following accident in Male’

A motorcyclist punched a pickup driver in the face following a road accident in Male’ City.

The collision took place between which turned to Majeedhee Magu from Alikilegefaanu Magu, and a motorcycle speeding from east to west on Majeedhee Magu on Wednesday evening.

The motorcyclist involved in the accident punched the pickup driver, a migrant worker, before fleeing the scene.

An eyewitness told Sun the motorcyclist had resorted to violence instead of calling the police.

“The motorcyclist was driving alone. The pickup didn’t hit the motorcycle hard. The motorcycle didn’t sustain any damage. But instead of speaking civilly, he burst with anger and hit the pickup driver on the nose before fleeing the scene,” said the eye witness.
