Wizz Air commencing direct flights to Maldives

UAE’s budget airline - Wizz Air Abu Dhabi is set to commence operating direct flights to Maldives in October.

As per the airline, the first flight to Maldives is scheduled for October 4.

Moreover, Wizz Air revealed that ticket sales have now commenced, and are priced at 319 Dirham, which is MVR 1,333. Tickets can be purchased through their website or application.

The operation will start with four weekly flights, on the days Saturdays, Sundays, Tuesdays and Thursdays.

Additionally, the airline noted that the flights to Maldives will be operated on their “brand-new Airbus A321neo aircraft, which offers the lowest environmental footprint”
