Tree Top opens application for nursing scholarships

Tree Top Hospital on Wednesday announced its Nursing Scholarship Program 2022.

In the statement released announcing this, the hospital stated that this programme is part of the “commitment to developing local talent”.

“Nurses play a key role in the provision of healthcare services.  Since its inception, TTH has been undertaking continuous recruitment of field specialist nurses from Registered Nurses to Midwives to support the various respective disciplines offered in the hospital.”

The hospital also acknowledged the importance of nurses in providing service excellence and strives to empower local nurses through the support of further education and training.

 Under the program, seven local students will be provided with a fully funded nursing scholarship, for students pursuing Diploma and Undergraduate Degrees in Nursing at Villa College.

The hospital expressed optimism that this scholarship program will open opportunities for existing and new nursing students who are pursuing further education at Villa College.

The slots opened for this year’s scholarship are as below:

·         BSc (Hons) Nursing (International) Top-up, September 2022 Intake (2 Slots)

·         Diploma in Nursing (3 years), September 2022 Intake (5 Slots)

Students who are interested are asked to email applications along with their documents to [email protected] before 17:00 on September 19, 2022.
