The Islamic University of Maldives (IUM) has made the decision to carry out career guidance sessions.
The statement released by the university announcing this noted that the purpose of these sessions was to build generations that were useful to the country are hardworking and to create awareness.
The sessions will be held on Thursday, June 30, at IUM. It will begin at 02:00 PM and will go on until 05:00 PM.
Additionally, IUM revealed that Vice-Chancellor (Administration and Finance) Mohamed Mahid Shareef, Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Academic Affairs) Dr Saudulla Ali, and Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Research and Innovation) Dr Dheeba Moosa will be acting as facilitators at this event.
The university further revealed that in the sessions, higher secondary graduates and other youth participants will be taught skills like cv writing and interview skills, and would also be given career guidance.
